10th International Z-Weekend

Over the Ascension Day weekend, the Z gauge community will be gathering once again in Altenbeken to marvel, wonder and share ideas. Here’s a little preview.

On 16 and 17 May, the doors of the Eggelandhalle in Altenbeken will open once again to showcase miniature wonderlands on a scale of 1:220 to interested visitors. Small and large layouts, special exhibits, homemade models and prototypes, as well as new releases, await arriving guests. Second-hand and new items will also be available on site. However, the focus of the Z-Freunde International meeting is always on personal interaction, which is further fostered by evening gatherings.

The (provisional) hall plan has now been published on the ZFI forum. Any updates can be viewed there. Our editorial team is also taking part: Harald Fried is demonstrating his tabletop modular layout (with a treasure hunt for visitors) for the second time, while Ralf Junius is contributing a “watch box layout” and other items of interest for the display case. New releases from Álvaro Cortes and Trafofuchs can also be discovered there.
