Commemorating the Velmo anniversary

Attention collectors: Märklin has produced a sliding-wall wagon (item no. 8657.059) in a limited edition of just 100 pieces to mark the “20th anniversary of locomotive decoders for Z gauge”. For more than two decades now, Velmo has been one of the leading digital equipment suppliers for our gauge, thanks to its easy-to-replace circuit boards. This is now being celebrated (retrospectively) with the new promotional wagon, which is intended to serve as a lasting reminder of this special occasion.

Incidentally, the 1zu220 shop has also had a special model produced based on the same basic wagon (8657.058). With its model, HRT Informationstechnik GmbH draws attention to the temporarily relevant website 1zu220.de, where customers are to switch to a new range during an ongoing transition phase, though this requires re-registration. Once everything has been converted, the sales department will switch back to the familiar website with the new range and the data registered up to that point.
