The Booster Power 40 LN (item no. 63 260) was delivered in August, including a powerful switching power supply and Loconet cable. This is a pure Loconet booster with galvanic isolation. It can also be used as a DCC brake generator by switching it over.
RS signals and LocoNet information are separated, so there is no risk of short circuits. The booster also has a built-in automatic reverse loop that can supply up to seven sections via a connectable reverse loop relay (61 080).
The device is compatible with control centres that output the RS signal on the Loconet socket (Loconet B). Since the output voltage can be adjusted on the switching power supply, it is also suitable for Z gauge. The supported data formats are DCC, Motorola®, mfx®, Selectrix® and FMZ. The maximum output current is 4 A, but can be limited to 2 A.
