Desired model finally available

With the successful implementation of a V 90 series diesel locomotive, Märklin has fulfilled a major model wish for many Zetties.

Z-gauge model railway enthusiasts have waited long and patiently for the V 90 model (item no. 88510), which is already sold out at the factory. This important locomotive was only made possible by the switch to bell-type armature motors that took place years ago. But Märklin also knew how to illuminate the signal lanterns in the panels of the stage railing depending on the direction of travel. A production sample presented at the Trainini Anniversary Exhibition 2025 also impressed with its silky-smooth running.

We will clarify in a test whether the series delivers what this demonstration model promised.
