Further innovation from Franke WF

Franke WF has announced another version based on the well-known innovation: a reserve coal loading crane wagon. We present a first sample photo.

In the February issue, we presented a coal crane with a tall, distinctive boom as a new product from Franke WF. Now, with a different boom shape, there is also a reserve coal loading crane wagon, which can also be used for emergency coal loading in the depot of the local railway. The chrome oxide green paintwork identifies it as a railway service vehicle. The prototype was self-propelled, which is why the model does not require a system coupling and features more details on the buffer beam. The replica is rollable and can be set up with the shovel closed or open – in our case, it is still loosely attached because the height above the track must be determined before permanent installation.
