Further Märklin deliveries in June
Three more Märklin novelties are reaching the dealers these days: The two-axle historic tank car with brakeman's cab of BV-ARAL AG Bochum (item no. 82325) had already been announced with the spring novelties 2020. After its grey predecessor with brakeman's platform, which was also designed to match Era IIIb and bore the separately applied "diamond" (Aral company logo), was so excellently received by our readers, this model will certainly also quickly find its buyers. The wagon, which was registered at the Bundesbahn, comes with a Büssing truck as an addition, on whose flatbed an Aral tank is loaded.
The DB's E 18 in steel blue livery (88088) with (only) one silver-coloured separating stripe between frame and body - the standard version of this livery - also belongs to the same period. This design was missing for many years in the 1:220 scale and has not been offered before. With this novelty another chassis has also been converted to bell armature drive. More modern is the unloaded bi-level transport car DDm 915 from the DB stock (87094), which corresponds to the operating condition of epoch IV in the colour scheme chrome oxide green.
Fourth novelty in the bunch is a sliding wall car set (82418) for Era VI. It consists of three large capacity sliding wall cars in current operating condition. These are one each of Habbiillnss (SBB Cargo), Habbiins 17 of Transwaggon Zug/Switzerland and Habbiillns of Rail Cargo Austria. The bodywork is still very new and has only been offered once so far. The shape of the outer wall panels clearly differs from previous offers.
