Märklin: brand-new express train coaches

Märklin has released the five-car set of 1928-type express train carriages. It was well worth the wait.

The “Standard Design 1928 to 1930” express coach set (item no. 87620) also arrived in shops in April. With the bottle-green coaches of usage group 29 in their 1951 service condition, Märklin is establishing a completely new and expandable family of passenger coaches. The Pw4ü-29 luggage van and two each of the C4ü-28 (3rd class) and ABC4ü-29 (1st/2nd/3rd class) express train carriages are superbly detailed, feature interior fittings and are even prepared for interior lighting. For the first time, Märklin is drawing power from the axle ends using the principle familiar from Rokuhan, which has a very positive effect on rolling resistance.
