Märklin steps up the pace in May

Märklin deliveries picked up speed in May: A whole series of new models arrived at the dealers. The FD ‘Rheingold’ opens the series as a one-off.

It can be assembled from three parts: The matching class E 10.12 locomotive (item no. 88415) in cobalt blue-beige appears individually, the six associated wagons are divided between two wagon packs (87266 / 87284). It was not announced that they also have an interior. The paintwork and printing are fine and also go round the corners of the wagons.

The three-domed version of the class 038 with tub tender (88909) is also a feast for the eyes. The investment-cast bronze steam locomotive is also equipped with an Indusi replica.

Also new is a Kühltransit A.G. heat protection car (86620) with a brakeman's cab based on the Union design, which is used on the German Federal Railroad.
