More new products delivered

Three more new products have been delivered by Märklin to the specialised trade since the beginning of October.

The class 232 diesel locomotive model (item no. 88136) in the original DR paint, but already modernised and lettered for Deutsche Bahn AG has received a metal-filled plastic housing. It is now waiting at the dealers for its buyers.

This is also true for the diesel locomotive 218 497-6 of the FIZ Cottbus of the Deutsche Bahn AG (88807), which is already sold out at the factory.  The special design was supported by Märklin as well as Piko. Unfortunately, the model has received bogies that differ from the prototype, although the correct moulds have been available in Göppingen for decades - unfortunately, this is not the first time this has happened.

The third new item now delivered is the supplementary track construction set (86572), which includes a Krupp Ardelt crane with protection wagon and a supplementary low side wagon of the former class X 05. The low side wagon also received a load that many Zetties will already be familiar with.
