New design to be delivered

Many people have been waiting for the Insider Club Model 2025: the class 628.2/928.2 diesel multiple unit (item no. 88700) dominated local transport on branch lines for many years and, in its traffic red livery for DB Regio, was a familiar sight until a few years ago. Deliveries have now begun and we can show you the first pictures here. The model runs smoothly and makes a convincing impression right from the start, including the closed appearance of the carriage transitions. This new product will soon have to undergo our test, the results of which you will then be able to read in the magazine.

Also arriving at retailers is the DB class 03.10 express steam locomotive (88858) with a new boiler. It is technically identical to the Insider model released a few years ago, but has a different operating number, 03 1012. The locomotive, based in Hagen-Eckesey, has the usual spoked wheels in the leading bogie, whereas 03 1001 had disc wheels.
