New freight cars at Azar Models

Azar Models has delivered a new generation of freight wagons in six variants, which should soon be available in Germany – the distribution partner there is the 1zu220 shop. These are the four-axle boxcars of the SNCF, the first samples of which were already on display in Altenbeken in 2024 and were promised for mid-2025.

The earlier SNCF standard wagon (item no. W04-ST), the later variants for Sernam in brown (W04-SN) and grey (W04-SNG), and the green livery of SNCF FRET (W04-FR) were delivered. There are variations in design due to the different numbers of ventilation flaps on the livestock (W04-VA) and horse transport wagons (W04-CH). Both are painted yellow and feature pictograms indicating their respective functions.
