Trainini 3/2026: Lots of crafting to do!
- Created by Redaktion
Wooden trestle bridges are impressive: both in real life and as models. Heribert Tönnies has taken on the challenge of recreating such a structure entirely on his own at a scale of 1:220. Today he gives a detailed account of the process – from the plans to the finished bridge. Our reader Hartmut Schnittjer has also been busy and has created his own eye-catching feature for a model railway layout. This is highly topical in view of the latest spring releases.
We also report on the Faszination Modellbahn exhibition in Mannheim, whilst taking a critical look at the continuing decline in visitor numbers. And last but not least, we present a new wagon from Azar Models, a special issue well worth reading and a DVD for rainy evenings.
