Trainini 4/2026: New Products and Layout Showcase

We take an in-depth look at Märklin’s Class 628.2 / 928.2 diesel multiple unit: not particularly spectacular at first glance, but nonetheless a very important model for local transport in 1:220 scale. Dirk Kuhlmann takes us on a journey to the United States and introduces us to the Chessie system at the Old Port Shop. We also stopped off at On traXS 2026, where two Z-gauge layouts were on display simultaneously for the first time. However, we were also very impressed by a layout on a much larger scale.
