Trainini 9/2026 (German Edition): Let the craft season begin!

The E 41 is regarded as Märklin’s finest electric locomotive design to date in 1:220 scale. However, even this model still has scope for a few improvements, which we have tackled this time with a strong focus on value for money. New possibilities only really come to the fore in digital operation, so we have also fitted it with a Velmo circuit board, which makes it even more of a ‘pride and joy’ for us. With Kittifix, we’re also introducing a range of adhesives from Saxony, which were used in the project just mentioned.

Thinking outside the box is the theme of the 25th anniversary of Miniatur-Wunderland Hamburg, to whose grand celebrations we were invited. Today we’re reporting in detail from there, and in doing so we’re sure to highlight why a visit there is always worthwhile. Collectors will also find a few treats in this issue, which is why we’d like to present the 2026 annual edition of ‘Collection Spur Z’. Among the new literary works is a special illustrated book by the Modellbundesbahn, which is sure to delight more than just die-hard steam locomotive enthusiasts.
