Azar Models: new sliding tarpaulin wagons

  • Created by Holger Späing

Azar Models has delivered two new sliding tarpaulin wagons for private adjusters for eras V and VI.

They are at home in Germany, but also operate across borders: the new type Shimmns sliding tarpaulin wagons from Azar Models are suitable for all modern layouts. Two packs of three of the four-axle wagons have now been delivered. The first in a lemon colour bears GATX lettering (item no. W03-GAP) and is lettered to Era VI, the other has the DB as the adjuster and runs for LogServ (W03-LSP) with Era V lettering. The wagons are well realised and have a realistic drapery. In a magazine report, we want to categorise the prototypes and differentiate them from the similar, but by no means identical Märklin models.
