Märklin deliveries at the start of spring

The Wismar rail bus VT 88.9 of the DB (item no. 88820) is new and has already been delivered to the trade to a large extent. While it remains unclear whether the prototype actually still has this colour scheme, the purple red looks very good on the miniature. All in all, the model with three-light headlights and bell anchor motor makes an excellent impression, which is largely due to the etched parts for the ladders and roof rack. But be careful, because of these fine parts, the model should be handled carefully and not touched when it is taken out of the box. Only the two wheels on each side appear clearly too large. We will discuss this novelty in detail in the magazine in May.

The Tehs 50 refrigerated wagon was used to realise the Smiley World wagon 2025 (86005). This model, produced in a one-off series, may appeal primarily to collectors, but it is also very attractive visually. In addition to the printing on the sides, it also has white lettering on one side of the chassis frame (see photo) and on both ends.
