MrZtrax: Start of small series production

  • Created by Holger Späing

For some time now, Raffaele Picollo from Genoa has been inspiring zetties with his ideas, plants and 3D printed models. Now he also wants to take off as a small-series manufacturer.

Who builds a layout in a picture frame and designs it in black and white - just like an old postcard? This is just one of the many ideas that Raffaele Picollo has been inspiring us with for many years. For about two years now, the tinkerer from Genoa has also dedicated himself to designing and printing 3D car models. He would now like to offer these to the public as a small-series manufacturer in the near future. Among his first models are, partly in different designs, the following models (partly also offered illuminated):

  • Dodge Charger RT "General Lee" (1936)
  • Fiat Nuova 500 (1970)
  • VW ID.BUZZ Pro (2022)
  • Ford F-100 (1956)
  • Piaggio Ape 600 with long platform (1969-1978)
  • VW T1 "Samba" with 21 windows (VW Type 24; 1963-1967)
  • VW New Beetle (1997-2004)
  • VW Half-Track Fox (1962)

A special feature of his very finely designed conversions is the crystal-clear print material, which allows a clear view in the window area. The bodywork, meanwhile, is cleanly and opaquely painted, which is why the observer does not even notice that the windows have not been retrofitted.
