Märklin has recalled both variants of the V 320 delivered so far for reworking and warns against commissioning.

Märklin has issued a recall for the diesel locomotives from item numbers 88320 (Insider Club model 2022) and 81320 (Wiebe construction train package). The models should not be put into operation because excessive heat may be generated in the locomotive electronics due to a possibly defective component. Models should therefore be sent directly or via the dealer to the Märklin repair service for corrections. We recommend that our readers take this warning seriously, as consequential damage cannot be ruled out.
