Surprise: The Wismar rail bus, affectionately known as the "pig's snout" because of its two motorised bonnets, was chosen for the Insider Club model for Z gauge. The quaint vehicle from the 1930s appears as a purple-red DB VT 88.9 (item no. 88820).

This is a completely new design that, according to Märklin, will appear finely detailed with many attached parts, such as the ladder to the luggage rack. The running gear and the superstructure are made of metal to ensure the highest possible weight and thus contact safety. To match the solo rail bus, the replica has a direction-dependent, white three-light headlights and two red tail lights with LEDs. A replica of the interior fittings and driver's cab as well as interior lighting are among the other product features emphasised by the manufacturer.
