Following the fire in Kamen, the building there will be abandoned. The company will also be located in Issum in future, as it suddenly announced today.

‘Due to serious damage caused by fire-fighting work on the roof truss of our building, we would not be able to operate the site for months.’ This is how the Modellbahn-Union's current announcement begins. For this reason, the fire-damaged building in Kamen is being given up and with it the entire site. The retailer is to move to new business premises in Issum and thus to the headquarters of DM-Toys, to which it belongs. The decision was made because the shop and warehouse would not be usable without the administration and social rooms.

It was therefore decided with a heavy heart to close the Kamen site permanently. However, the relocation is already in full swing and operations at the new Issum site are due to start in a few weeks.
